I'm thinking of picking it up over the weekend, but would love to hear some "real people" first impressions of it first. I not a big console guy, but I like the idea of lounging on the couch and playing a great fantasy crpg. Does Fable fit the bill?

Anyone know of where I can find rules on magic item advancement? Specifically, magic items that can gain xp and levels (like PCs). Is there such a thing or am I severely confused and bewildered? I just want to know where I can find existing rules (if there are any). Thanks in advance.
