    Wild Spellcraft updated to 3.5?

The only glaring thing that may need to be fixed is the [teleport] descriptor, but other than that... Has anyone updated this to 3.5? Or found a reason not to change the semantics (teleport) and call it good?

Awesome ItOpen, now what about Canada? =)

Thanks again for the responses. Growing season...hadn't thought about that, nor the fact that water evaporates slower in a colder climate. Lots of good thoughts. Thank you again, and I'll definitely be purchasing Into the Arctic when it makes an appearance. Already starting to skim through...

Awesome ItOpen, now what about Canada? =)

Thanks for the responses. I think Into the Open may be a tad closer to Earth-like plains than the campaign setting itself. ;) I was wondering what the colder climate might do, but apparently not too much. Not tundra mind you...that's the extreme north of the region I'm trying to describe...

Awesome ItOpen, now what about Canada? =)

Had that and Wildwood on my list for a while, picked 'em both up. :D A few questions though. Firstly, are you familiar with the Midnight campaign setting by FFG? If yes, then I'm wondering where the Dornish lands north of the Sea of Pelluria fit in. If not, let me describe these grasslands a...

    Weather stats thingy

All of the weather and environmental effects are spiffy in how they can be mixed and matched. Any idea if where a tool, online or downloadable, might be that can give all of the end results for a given condition? My Google-fu has failed me. :( Edit: Found this one, but NOT through Google...

    Cave Generator Updated

If it's not too difficult, I personally would love that! How hard is it to do hexes instead of squares?

    Cave Generator Updated

As I tikner with code every now and again, that does make good sense. Thanks :) Looking forward to the multiple entrances feature that you're working on. I don't think it's possible, but can you recommend any particular cartography program to further alter/edit your program's output?

Is a sundered Divine Focus useless to a cleric (or druid or ranger or paladin)? Aoo?

Because D&D has one advantage over pop culture movies: You can't cross two sticks to get a magical effect. Unless you're a druid.

    Cave Generator Updated

Absolutely awesome! And to think, I was looking for something like this a week ago for a session last weekend. Didn't get to it, but we will next weekend. Thanks so much! Query: What does Density do? Tried comparing similar caves with highest/lowest, and I can't tell the difference. Also, you...

    Pregnancy rate

That's...a lot of babies. Will ponder. :)

    Pregnancy rate

How many people need to die horribly in order to prevent a good prophecy from coming true. How many would be overkill if they're associated with a given PC. It's only a town of 1,000, so I'm going for an unusually high number of pregnancies due to both prophecy and an unusually productive town...

    Pregnancy rate

I'm trying to figure out pregnancy rate for fantasy worlds. Specifically a post-apocalyptic evil-god-has-come rare-magic world ;) but I'll take standard D&D/FR, too. 1% of women at any given time? 0.5%? 0.5% only if the community is going well? etc Googling for this brings up so much politics...

More or less than 4 PCs

I have found several EL calculators that take into account a party that has more or less than 4 PCs, but I'd like to be able to do this myself. The DMG isn't much help, since the only blurb about != 4 PCs is in the rewards/XP section. So, what have you done to balance against say, 5 characters...

    Specialist Wizards: Where's da Oomph?

Okay, that was my fault for dragging the thread off-topic. Can we please not do that again? I want solutions, not debate.

    Specialist Wizards: Where's da Oomph?

You take issue that I consider the UA variants to be full of thematic and character customization elements, and that they are great but not what I'm looking for in terms of more oomph for specialists? You should read my statement a bit more carefully. Right now, I believe the only reason to play...

    Specialist Wizards: Where's da Oomph?

Jarrod: Specialist Diviners as adventurers? That's great! Excellent roleplaying opportunities, and little chance for powergaming. But yes, giving up two schools...o_O

    Specialist Wizards: Where's da Oomph?

Sorry for being snippy. It's lunchtime and I haven't eaten. I apologize even though it wasn't requested, because your response was civil and by comparison, mine was rude.

    Specialist Wizards: Where's da Oomph?

Our group has been together for five years, and we've always had a specialist wizard in it. We're currently at 16th level. We level slowly, but that's fine because it leaves more time between leaps in power for character development. I think I've seen them in play enough to make my own...

    Specialist Wizards: Where's da Oomph?

I don't want a debate as to whether or not specialist wizards are too weak or too strong. This thread starter assumes they are underpowered probably once they hit mid levels and most certainly at high levels. Unearthed Arcana describes alternate class features for specialist wizards, and I have...
