Hey you can check the Draconomicon (sp?) for ideas on what the group can salvage. If you can get your hands on the 2e Draconomicon (sp?) it'll give ya even more ideas. I can't recall the Dragon issue that handled it, but they did have an issue that dealt with it.

I like the idea of magic being based off a skill check. The wand issue is simple, have the wands give bonuses to the spellcraft check, like all the other D&D items that boost skills. Basic wands might only increase the check by a few points, however at higher levels the wizards could trade up...

I know that the draconomicon has the faerie dragon in it, however it is a severley nerfed version of the old. I was wondering if anyone had converted this beloved creature, and if so would you post it or provide a link. Thanks in advance.
