    D&D 5E (2024) Check Out The New Dungeon Master's Guide's Greyhawk Map

Spoke to soon. Describing orcs as anything other than disgusting creatures is stupid. In every type of fantasy novel I read, they are always described as monsters. I don't ever see orcs mingling freely with other people in any fantasy setting. I guess orcs could rule disgusting countries, like...

D&D 5E (2024) What would you like to see in the new Monster Manual (2025)?

I must say, after reading these posts, I'm really looking forward to some adventure designing.

D&D 5E (2024) How Does Greyhawk Fit In To The New Edition?

It ain't Middle Earth, but I think it should fit in well. D&D as it was meant to be. Only time will tell for sure...

    D&D 5E (2024) Check Out The New Dungeon Master's Guide's Greyhawk Map

Give me Middle Earth or the Age of Conan! Though, Greyhawk is cool. At least with Greyhawk you don't have to worry about the DM doing something Non-Middle Earthish or something stupid with the hyborian age, like puting starships in those worlds!

D&D 5E (2024) Check Out The 2025 Monster Manual Alternate Cover!

I just hope the inside content is well edited and highly scrutinized to match the high quality that these alternate covers provide. It would be a shame to to read a bunch of crap then have to learn to like it. Gives me nightmares just thinking about it.

    D&D 5E (2014) New Monster Manual Cover

I seen the alternate cover for the PHB but not for any of the others. Does anyone know if they have been released?

    D&D 5E (2014) New Monster Manual Cover

I liked it better when the art wasn't revealed until you seen it at the store.

    D&D 5E (2024) New D&D Edition's Player’s Handbook Cover Reveal

Is that a black elf rising above the rest? I thought the only black elves were Drow. Those glowing eyes make her look as if she's infused with supernatural power, probably a NPC magic user of some sort, very stereotypical.

    D&D 5E (2024) New D&D Edition's Player’s Handbook Alternate Art Cover Reveal

It might be me or déjà vu, but I swear I've seen it before. I think it was at a bookstore or piece of book club paraphernalia, not sure which. Looks good though. Especially that hanging teapot, looks like god is saying "have a drink on me"!

They should use gold on gray instead of black on white as a UPC.

    D&D 5E (2024) New D&D Edition's Player’s Handbook Cover Reveal

I was thinking about getting back into D&D, but after seeing that cover, I have my doubts. Very stereotypical, which leads me to conclude that the whole book is infected with that crap. Probably not just the pictures, but the text too.

D&D 5E (2024) WotC Reveals The Confirmed Release Dates of 2024's D&D Slate

Why don't they be more like Lord of the Rings? One rulebook to rule them all. One rule to guide them. One rule to suspend disbelief. Only one way to rock. Heavy metal Lord of the Rings!

Should Dungeon and Polyheadron be in the same magazine

I don't like the Polyhedron/Dungeon combination. Polyhedron was a great fantasy/science fiction source before it was combined with Dungeon. I think I'm going to drop my subscription and invest in a diferent d20 magazine. Dungeon was a good magazine, but now it has made Polyhedron less critical.
