    D&D 3E/3.5 Looking for a 3.5 Spell...

I'm looking for a wizard/cleric spell that works like the druid spell Metal Fang from the Complete Champion. Obviously I want one that works on weapons. Please give source and spell name. I'm want to find an already existing spell so I don't have to craft a new spell in game and can choose it...

    Hardening Items Magically

I cannot remember where I saw this, but I remember seeing either a spell or a creation method to increase hardness of an item. Can you help me with finding this?

    Robe of Stars

They are usable once a day. In earlier editions of AD&D, they have always regenerated. In the end it is your DM's call.

    Multi Class Skill Points?

Sithobi1 is correct... when the level you are adding to your character is the fighter class, you must spend skill points as a fighter, so disable device costs 2 points per rank. I use a house rule so that all ranks of any class skill on any of a character's classes always is payed for at the 1...

    questions about "Seeking" weapon enhancement

How does Quote: Seeking: Only ranged weapons can have the seeking ability. The weapon veers toward its target, negating any miss chances that would otherwise apply, such as from concealment. (The wielder still has to aim the weapon at the right square. Arrows mistakenly shot into an empty...

    questions about "Seeking" weapon enhancement

Seeking does not counter Blink The miss chance for Blink is because the target is not there to be hit. Seeking causes the missle to veer into the target, however for Blink the target is not there.

How would you rule this attack?

I would also give the golem a reflex save in the area of 12-16 for no damage.

    Near-Epic magic item devaluation

There's no denying that MD is a very powerful spell. I had a chance to use it in a high level three night event, it was devistating against a party member that tuned on the group. I my own games I've house ruled its power down some. It will still destroy all active spells, but it only disrupts...

    simple arrow question

Yes they are different. A short bow uses arrows around 2-3 foot long. A long bow's arrows are over a yard long. Remember that a shot bow is only about 3 foot from tip to tip, while a long bow is about 6 foot long.

    Improved Buckler Defense ?

When you are using your buckler, your off hand weapon is unavailable for attacks, the feat enables you switch off between having your weapon ready for a full round attack and defending when it isn't your turn. If you allow a two handed weapon user to do this, you must not allow him to take AoO...

    D&D 3E/3.5 Vampiric Regen in 3e / 3.5

This item does NOT do extra damage to the target, it is a special purpose healing item for the wearer (if it is a ring) or user (if it is a weapon) , this is assuming you use the item as it was in 1st and 2nd edition. Using Vampiric Touch is a good idea for the creation, and +5 enhancement is...

    selling loot vs. created items

I treat magic items as commodities, and therefore only charge a 'conversion' fee, of 10% to 20% when the PC's sell items.

    Targetting Area Spells

AoE Spell Placement I use a simple rule for AoE spells, if the monster is in the AoE, so is any PC's engaged with it in melee. It simplifies and speeds up the process, it isn't possible to place a spell, such as Fireball to just hit the monster.

    Counterspelling

There is no point in counter spelling him, just hurt him with a spell and force a concentration check to continue. If he makes the check, he will either have to stop casting his spell to fight you, or continue casting and you get another free shot at him.

    Exp. leaches?

In 3.5 you award XP based on the character's level, not the average level of the group. You use the group average level to match up to the EL of the encounters.

    Crafting wondrous items

There is a maximum plus a caster can bestow on an item, it is +1 per 3 caster levels. See DMG p217 for Caster level for Armor and Shields, p221 for weapons, p232 Ring of Protection. In 3.0 there was the same restriction to stat enhancers, but I don't see it in the 3.5 descriptions.

Readied actions, invisibility, and attacks: which comes first?

You can always delay then charge. You just don't have the option of interupting some one when you do this, you act after they do.

    Ways to prevent full attack?

Remember that you have not commited yourself to a full attack untill you take your second swing. You can't ready a withdraw action (it is a full round action). So the fighter takes his first swing, you back up before he takes his second swing which trigers an AOO. The effect is giving him 2...

    Multiple Animal Companions

Not bad, but I would limit to a cumulative 5 levels less and the feat can only be chosen after every 5 levels (6, 11, 16).

    Individual XP

First, I discourage individual encounters (nothing is more boring for the other players). Second, it sounds like he fought 4 NPC's of 1st level. He should get the XP of an encounter of a 6th level character with only 2 CR 1 creatures (most of the NPC classes are only CR .5 at first level), by...
