Not beat a dead horse but... how about a potion? I may be misunderstanding Animal Friendship. The character in question is now a Rog1/Ftr1/Rgr1. The player is wanting an animal companion and wants to use a scroll. Could this character have a Wolf companion?

Even a Ftr2 could only max out at 3.5 in Bluff. I'm thinking of ruling that you can raise a cross class skill up one full point (2 skill points) per level if it's a Class skill in another class.

Yet they can use items that contain spells from their casting list at first level. I guess my question is, is it possible to have an animal companion at first level if they use a scroll?

Can a Paladin or Ranger use wands, scrolls etc... from their casters list even thought they can't cast the spells yet?

I house ruled that you can only feint a creature that is already flanked. The bluffing character doesn't necessarily have to be the one doing the flanking however.

Can a Rog3/Brb2 be flanked?

If you empower a spell making it two spell levels higher, and you also have the heighten feat, could you just capriciously make it heightened to that level as well? I.E. Magic Missile cast empowered as a 3rd level spell, could you then go ahead and make it a heightened 3rd level spell? Thx
