Not according to Stan Lee! As for gaming improving my life, I am pretty stressed with balancing my job, my school, my art, etc.. and when I play D&D I forget about all that stuff for 6 hours. So to me, it's a stress reliever.

What are the easiest & quickest RPGs? Games that you can buy, read and understand in one day. Then play on the second day with character creation and all?
