If you want to learn 2e, there are several play-by-post (pbp) forums where 2e games are being run. I'm running a 2e Greyhawk game right now! Loads of fun.

"10" Like 2e, I absolutely love it. It's easy to calculate (up or down).

Was able to get the Core Rules Book used for $20 and bought the Beginner Box yesterday at Books-A-Million. I appreciate the advice. Still not sure exactly what I am going to do, but I will have a few months to read up on things and make a decision starting in February...because I'm retiring :)

Thanks. I'm just tinkering with colored pencils and such. And I have no idea how to do the dungeon "fill in" between and around rooms. I'm just making chicken scratch ;)
