Dungeons & Dragons: Warlock Video Game Announced by Invoke Studios

Don't know about that. Inquisition is much better than 2.

How do you like to start a campaign

Current game: We're all former students of a prestigous fencing school brought back to do a mission for the Bishop (a good guy Richilieu) to find out why the monsters of our fairy tales are coming to life. Spoiler: They've actually been around for millenia. Same GM: 1742, we are all impressed...

What was your 1st RPG and what was your favourite campaign about or best memory?

My first was AD&D, a one shot where I played a Halfling thief named ahem Purloin. I wish I could say I was very young but I was an adult. In the very first encounter I succumbed to a save or die poison. I called out to Asmodeus who saved me with the condition that I betray the party and steal...

TOON the cartoon RPG, anybody play it?

Cool beans. I ran a one shot at the local university game club a year ago and it was a blast for everyone.

Nominate your MOST ANTICIPATED RPG of 2026

I wish this well but it just reminds me of my frustration that the M&M 3e version didn't get enough love and only got the first 4 books.

    Savage Pathfinder Gunslinger

There haven't been any savage pf threads in 4 years but I'll give it a stab anyway. Gunslingers seem really bad. 1 more damage than a bow but half the range, reload 2, misfires. The Veteran power for double damage is good but limited to 1 attack per turn. It seems like it takes a long time to...

What is/are your most recent TTRPG purchase(s)?

No index is inexcusable as well. The thing I hated about White Wolf books was that the indices did not include the fluff parts of the book. So, looking for info on a specific faction? Nope.

    TTRPG Podcasts

What is Tabletop - I don't agree with everything they say, and there is way too much 5e in spite of claiming indifference, they have some interesting videos. Most are examining mechanics from various games, good or ill.

Are there any books, PF 1 or 2, that have tables by terrain for Golarion?

What rpg system would you use for a 60+ session fantasy campaign?

RM was a system, back in the day, that I really enjoyed just creating characters with. Before I discovered systems like Hero and gurps, it actually allowed characters that could dabble outside of their main class. Cleric who grew up on the streets with some thieving skills, Fighter who learned...

    GURPS 4th Edition Revised Announced

Their worked genre setting basically do that - Action, Dungeon Fantasy, After the End, Monster Hunters all do this. Steampunk also, to a lesser extent.

    GURPS settings appreciation thread

I've run into people on the official forums who have entire shelves of gurps books but never had any intention of playing/running it. The sourcebooks are that good. Back in the day, I showed Ice Age to my Anthropology prof and she was quite impressed by the accuracy (for the time it was...

    What was your 2nd RPG?

Like many, my first game was D&D (in my case AD&D 1e) I've always had a love/hate relationship with the game. After my first session, I thought "this was great but there must be a better way - I hated the class/level mechanics. My second through fourth games, all in a 4 month period were Call...

Do you "roleplay" in non-TTRPG Games?

Loved that game; wish it was more popular.

Do you "roleplay" in non-TTRPG Games?

Interesting. In our GURPS Swashbucklers game, we've had one combat in about 10 sessions.

    Hours actually playing RPGs, non-D&D?

The numbers don't go high enough as all my gaming is non-dnd if I can help it. Savage Worlds 2 hours per week, GURPS 4 hours per week. When University is in session another 4 hours per week - varies but never dnd.
