Infinite Worlds might be one of the coolest RPG books I've ever read, though I'd be inclined to use it to run Fate or something after using the book for worldbuilding.
The seven levels/frequencies of timelines play well with the Fare ladder of stat levels, too.

I really like Fantasy II for GURPS 3e. Very unique.
Early work by Robin D. Laws, later famous for a lot of stuff.

Yep, own 'em both, in print and PDF, and wish there were more.

Even if you never play GURPS - or don't know thing one about the game system - their books are great sources for Traveller and Charted Space. Long live His Imperial Majesty Strephon!
I've run into people on the official forums who have entire shelves of gurps books but never had any intention of playing/running it. The sourcebooks are that good.

Back in the day, I showed Ice Age to my Anthropology prof and she was quite impressed by the accuracy (for the time it was written). Someone on the forum listed Camelot in his bibliography for a term paper. After he was asked "what's a gurp?", he loaned the prof his copy who then added the book to his "other reading" list. They make great primers for any subject.
