    To kill a dragon?

Victory! Partially due to some outstanding luck on our circumstances, but hey, that's how really tough fights can go. We went in while it was asleep, and a Dungeoneering check told us that the sound of the magma bubbling and the scent of sulfur would probably dull the dragon's senses a little...

    To kill a dragon?

Thanks much for the replies, folks. I mentioned some of them to the rest of the party, and the consensus is to try and solidify as much of the magma as we can to trap it, and then beat on it from there. Should be a fun combat!

    To kill a dragon?

Let's assume that Shivering Touch is too much cheese to work, and keep it as a backup plan. As has been noted, even if it did work, everyone would feel cheated. Our single biggest source of damage is probably the Halfling Charger. She's got a Vicious Charging Trident, for +4d6 on a Mounted...

    To kill a dragon?

Yeah, somehow I don't think Shivering Touch would work. It's too easy. Too cheese. No effort or real rolls involved. To kill a dragon?

Wow. That seems like a legit powerful spell. And that would work even though the dragon is literally in a volcano? Hmm. The only thing would be that if the first cast didn't do that 10 points of damage, then it could sink below the surface of the lava and wait out the duration, right?

    To kill a dragon?

Reply: Ages It's a dragon that hasn't been seen recently. We know it predates the current government (about 200 years old) and that before this government was established, it was old enough to terrorize rural countryside. After the government was established, the dragon hasn't been heard from...

    To kill a dragon?

Hi guys. I'm looking for clever and inventive ways to kill a dragon. Here's the situation: The dragon is currently sleeping. It lives inside a volcano, and is partially submerged in lava. The volcano is inactive, and we have a tunnel to the inner Lair of the dragon, where there is solid ground...
