    Magus.... MONK

Hey Guys, I ended up making a Magus Bladebound/Kensai toting a lovely Uruami (whipsword), and I was thinking after level 3, taking a couple of levels of Monk Master of Many Styles, with Panther Style and Snapping Turtle Style, as I wanted to be able to run through enemies AoOing everything...

    Multi-classing

I wanted the sneak attack dice, as I was thinking of going assassin later on, and the ability to brew potions/extracts... assuming I can use the Magus spells to do this... ie if my Magus spells include Invisibilty, I assume I can brew a invisibilty extract using the alchemist Alchemy. Also...

    Multi-classing

Anyone got any advice on making a Magus (Black Blade) with Alchemist (vivisectionist) 3 level dip? Is it worth it? Or simply better to go straight Magus?

We also had the sorcerer cast grease, then the cleric used spark to set it alight, which was awesome and funny.

Ok so we have had our first game, and I did pretty well being all sneaky and stabbing people with daggers. I one hit KOed a bandit, which was the most impressive kill of the encounter so I'm ok with how I'm going so far. I just need to decide if level 2 is rogue again, for the talent, or...

Really what I want is a hit and run type character, pop out of stealth, do a massive hit to cripple or kill, then fade back into stealth.

You know what, screw it, half Orc with a battle axe it is. Ranged appears too much trouble for a range

4, 5 and 1 in that order. I like the bleeding talent for a rogue and the bleeding arrows you can get, and thought it would be a nice combo as an arcane archer

Or should I go elf so I get the long bow proficiency?

    New player help

I decided it would be more in theme for my character to be a ranged rogue, so I am gonna change my want to going for arcane archer instead. That way if the party gets in trouble i can just slip away... Lol I also managed to convince the GM to allow me to be a tiefling, so this game should be...

    New player help

I really wanted to use a greatsword and improved feint. But I guess the natural attacks look like they are better in the long run... Maybe I should only take 1 level of rogue, then level as a alchemist, so that way I have Stealth and Bluff as class skills. Then I can be a super scary mauling...

    New player help

I had planned to start Rogue, as no one in the party has trap finding, plus I wanted the extra skill points. I didn't like the loss of some of the class skills, nor the loss of weapon choices. I figure I would take probably two levels in Alchemist, so my progression would be: Lvl1: Rogue 1...

What about if I was to instead of taking a level of barbarian I took alchemist vivisectionist? Keeps my sneak attack and adds potions. What do you guys think of the alchemist?

Yeah it was a mix of the oriental thing and the fact he doesn't count them as proper classes... And now I am torn about starting as a barbarian or a rogue. Can someone please explain how multiclassing works for skill points?

We are pretty much allowed to use all the books, except we are only allowed the core classes, and no Samurais, Ninjas or guns. Black powder is completely banned, our GM has a real problem with them. The rest of the party is: LE Evangelist Cleric CN Freebooter Ranger CE Anti-Paladin LE Monk of...

Hello, I'm starting my first game of pathfinder in a week with my friends and I want to make a good character and was wondering if I could get some help. I was thinking Human Rogue, and taking the feats Combat Expertise and Improved Feint, so I can Sneak Attack every turn, with the intention...
