WotC World Reveal of Baldur's Gate 3

Actually, this looks amazing, I didn't think they'd be this far along at this point. As far as it 'looking like D:OS', the games still in alpha, there's probably some placeholder art assets remaining, so I wouldn't worry about that.

    D&D 3E/3.5 Arcane domain spells

They're listed in Sword Coast Adventurer's Guide, I'm not sure what was listed in Unearthed Arcana. Two spells are listed for each respective Cleric level 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th, and 9th.

    Skill Feats In Pathfinder 2

You've got to be kidding me, this is ridiculous.

    D&D 5E Storm Sphere (5E) value?

Donkey Kong, keep in mind that everyone gets a turn during a single round. With this in mind, there is 10 rounds, so the spell will likely be up for the entire combat.

D&D 5E Material Components: How Hard to Find in Your Games?

Yes, neat, it was in Dragon #81 if anyone is interested.

D&D 5E Material Components: How Hard to Find in Your Games?

Spell-casting foci are boring, spell components are fun. I'd have them gather even mundane items, but I wouldn't tally bits of web, apple tarts, feathers, etc. I think it helps them slip in to the role of a spell-caster. As far as higher gp items like gems, I think it's fair to relay whether a...

D&D 5E Anyone else annoyed at Wizards lack of Minion summoners?

I've no problem with the Conjure Elemental spells per se, but that 1 minute casting time makes them largely unusable to me, really.

    D&D 5E A copper for your thoughts?

No, sadly, that stuff is too easily ignored in the age of component pouches and other spell foci. They are the next item on my list to get chucked, but I'll need to think about the ramifications for a little while yet.

    Xanathars guide

I'm not really comfortable with Xanathar's Guide's stuff yet either, but we'll see.

D&D 5E Anyone else annoyed at Wizards lack of Minion summoners?

Oh, god, I remember reading Infernal Calling. What kind of idiot would cast that spell? The two other summoning spells are not too impressive either, really. Besides, I'm sorry, but fiend summoning is utterly reckless if not evil, so I don't see them as suitable for most D&D players or...

[POLL] Which Xanathar's Guide Cover Do You Prefer?

I think the standard cover is superior here, but I really liked the special edition cover for Volo's Guide to Monsters. The special edition cover for XGtE reminds me too much of Modern Art, which I find terrifying.

D&D 5E Xanathar's Guide to Everything: Common Magic Items

Well, given the context of the book itself, at least some of then are more useful to players than seventeen pages of character names.

D&D 5E Revision for the Blur spell

I guess dispelling it or knocking it off the Bladesinger isn't feasible? Blur is already not too popular really, as it's concentration, unlike Mirror Image. That said, I've never seen it cast and I wouldn't miss it if it was out of play, so I'm not too attached to it.

D&D 5E Rating Wizard Traditions at 2nd Level

I'm a little uncertain where to put the the +2 ASI among them, but nevertheless (with 10 being best): Sculpt Spell (10), Portent (9), Bladesong (8), Arcane Ward (7), Grim Harvest (6), +2 ASI (5), Minor Conjuration (4), Hypnotic Gaze (3), Improved Minor Illusion (2), Minor Alchemy (1)

Xanathar's War Mage is Gandalf, Dr Strange, and Elric

If I wanted to 'lay waste to groups of enemies', I can't imagine swapping Sculpt Spell for any of the War Mage's abilities.

#Feminism Is A Collection of 34 "Nanogames" From Designers Around The World

Unearthed Arcana Unearthed Arcana Takes On Theurgy & War Magic

Regarding the Theurge, I don't consider Light and Knowledge domains 'especially appropriate', more like 'especially stupid' choices. Maybe alternate spell school traditions, as those in the PHB, would be interesting? All traditions should compete with Evocation (actually Sculpt Spell) and...

No, sadly, the spell is simply awful in 5e.

An Artificer that's not a wizard? What the hell? Well, good luck with this one, I'm not wasting any more time with it.
