    The Hunter and Beast Master don’t get extended spells because of the whole “spellless Ranger” crowd. In the lead up to the 2024 PHB, Crawford said those subclasses are meant to represent Rangers that are less focused on spells.

    He handles the rules design, not the marketing or production of products once they are past the design step. Not being able to answer if more class boards get produced or about Demo set ups in game stores is understandable since those decisions are not up to him.

    Still think it makes things too easy in Dungeon Crawls. We have too many spells that neutralize dungeons as is; we do not need more. "Detect Traps" would be a better name.

    Maybe a hot take: Find Traps should not find traps. It completely trivializes one of the best parts of dungeon crawls. It is perfectly fine as it is, mechanically. Its worst offense is its name, not its actual mechanics.

    You really don’t, since the spellcasters now have a base attack that keeps them at the minimum damage threshold for their CR. Just Arcane Burst or whatever it is during your other fights (also, almost no tables run 8 fights in an adventuring day).

    It is basically only for 2024, with the meet of the content being the 2024 Artificer, Dragonmarks as Backgrounds (which are very different than in 2014), 2024 versions of the Eberron species, and Bastion options (which aren’t in 2014).

    You really don’t. They have X/day uses, same as any full caster with their spell slots. If they are going to be around later, just recharge their uses the next day. Not that hard.

    I disagree with this. The monsters absolutely need an update. The best way to tell what monsters are leaning into the 2024 designs is to look at Spellcasting. And in Rising, almost all of the spellcasters still use the Spell Slot method. It’s clunky and clumsy and bad monster design.
