Indeed, but does the spell specify that the steed you find is a horse? I can look at the spell myself if need be, but if it just summons a nearby steed then it might not end up being a horse when it shows up....

Well, his original horse would've technically died in the wreck, so he wouldn't start with one, but if he has the Find Steed spell or something that'd still work.
