1 year of 3.5e...How has the conversion gone?

After one year of 3.5, what do you think of the new rules?

3.5 has been out for about a year now. How has the conversion gone? Have you found your game vastly improved with 3.5? Disappointeded with 3.5? Or are you one of the odd ones (like myself) who refuse to pay any more money for a new edition and have stuck with 3.0? I'm just a little curious.

Not only do I like the ruleset better (Pokemounts don't even bother me much), but every release for it seems to be better than the releases for 3.0. XPH, Unearthed Arcana, the Complete series, etc. Only disappointment I've seen is the Player's Guide to Faerun, but that may be just that I'm getting tired of FR.

Neutral. I haven't bought the new books yet, and have only skimmed over parts of the SRD, so I still don't know the changes well enough to comment.

I voted Worse than 3.0 because now my choice in characters has changed to non-spell casting classes. I won't bother to learn all the spell changes. I'd use 3.0 and call it good but the "lesser gamer" gamers in my groups mix and match willy nilly.

However my submissions for publishers are very much 3.5 based. I guess I could have voted neutral but too late now.

I have a few grips with some of the changes, and at least one thing that should have been changed and wasn't, but over all I think the change was definately for the better.

Neutral Evil. I don't mind the changes (although I'm not as familiar as I could be), but how many of us have to shell out for core books and sourcebooks all over now that the rules have changed?

The only change I thought was a definite negative was the new way the paladin's mount works. I see why the one-a-day magical calling would be easier to run, but it is just too fantastical for any of the campaigns I run.

I voted Neutral.

Some changes were good, some were bad.

But my major gripe with 3.5 is that they changed way too frelling much!!! There are so many llittle changes that it's worse than learning a new system. You think you know how it works, but now it's just a little bit different... :\
