Wisps!
The will-o'-wisp has spawned a number of variants over the years, including the benevolent will-o'-dawn, the subterranean will-o'-deep, the mysterious will-o'-mist, the life-draining will-o'-shadow, and the massive will-o'-sea. Their extended family tree also includes the fire-absorbing firestar, the extraplanar ghostlight, and the chosen servant of the Wind Dukes, the hound of law.

To get a full batch of 10, we've thrown in a couple of templates. The caveling template transforms humanoids into subterranean mutants, while the master naga template creates a multiheaded exemplar of a naga subspecies.

The dead rise for Halloween
It's that time of year again, time for the undead to rise from their graves.

This batch includes a few variant zombies, the Netherese zombie and its greater templated version and the peculiar beholder zombie (not to be confused with the doomsphere).

We've also got the aquatic, vampiric amiq rasol, the extraplanar scythe-wielding ankou, and the martial dark vartha.

From the sylvan realm come the undead army known as the saugh, with its constituents the ghoulish dearg-due and the wraithlike gossamer. The dead fey also gather into the warlike sluagh swarm.

Finally, we have a 3.5 update of the blazing bones.

Kreen, Sheen, and the Spaces Between
This latest batch finishes off the sheens, including the animal-mimicking propagator, the mighty spellcasting arcanosheen, and the humongous walking battery known as the power tree. The manikin template creates half-sheen servants of the machine cyst.

This batch also includes the relatives of the thri-kreen, the tohr-kreen. Included are the warlike j'ez, the crystal-crafting j'hol, the workmanlike t’keech, and the naturalistic tondi.

Rounding out the batch are two creatures from the planes between planes, the Astral-dwelling thendar, and the Ethereal-jaunting horg.

Life-challenged
Ten more undead manifest within the Creature Catalogue.

A number of incorporeal terrors, including the rage-inducing ekimmu, the almost-harmless kada, the badly-in-need-of-a-restraining-order resident, the collective swarm of tymher-haid, and the paradoxical temporal stalker.

The bath also includes the vampiric tyerkow, the demonic vrykolakas and greater vrykolakas, the shadowy umbra, and mighty Maramet the Undead King.

Giants and the earth
The first batch of the new year arrives, bringing six undead giants, the massive gigantes, and the rocklike bi-nou.

The undead giants include the barrowe, cairn, firegaunt, frostmourn, spectral cloud, and temperament.

The bi-nou bring with them two relatives, the feral rockworms and the mighty rocklords.

The gigantes entry is "cafeteria style", somewhere between a monster and a template. It includes the sample gigantes Alcyoneus, as well as new versions of Antaeus and Enceladus.

Familiarity
...breeds conversions.

This batch includes 7 supernatural familiars and 3 potential familiars with more natural roots.

From the good-aligned outer planes hail the galadur, including the chaotic baltir, the lawful telperan, and the neutral glissan.

The planes of neutrality offer the lomendur, including the lawful tabur, the neutral orrek, and the chaotic quark.

From the neutral-aligned Lower Planes comes the yugoloth counterpart to the imp and quasit, the blood-sucking nalg.

The Material Plane is not without its contributions, including the pseudodragon-kin veeru, the spritelike haudhla, and the malevolent durocib.

Spiders!

10 spiderlike creatures crawl into the Creature Catalogue this week!

The batch includes giant versions of mundane spiders, including the barrel spider, crab spider, diving bell spider, jumping spider, and raft spider.

A bit more supernatural are the pack spider and the mighty spider queen, which controls and bolsters hordes of monstrous spiders.

On desolate asteroids can be found the hives of the Vodoni space spiders and their greater counterparts, the diamond spinners.

Finally, through the work of the Demon Queen of Spiders and foul beings of the Elemental Plane of Fire comes the tenacious phoenix spider.
