73. There is a spector in the treasury. It's the ghost of the long-dead treasurer, who kept a very, VERY accurate ledger of all the transactions taking place in the castle, and he still does to this day. He is STILL keeping a ledger of all the transactions going on, but has noticed that the treasury is rapily going bankrupt.

The otherwise benevolent king has been magic-jarring into his heir's body whenever death from old age draws near.

He has done this for ten generations.

I just finished reading a book that included this (or something similar) as a major plot point

74. The King is an impostor. He was an actor that was grabbed up by the council after the real king died without leaving an heir many years ago. The only people who know are the council and the Queen, but she's quite happy with her "play-king" and wouldn't let anyone know.
