101 Inspiringly Punny Titles...

Or perhaps Gnome Body Nose, in which the animated nose of said deceased Gnome helps...sniff out...the killer?

Upon further reflection, I hope the Gnome in question wasn't killed by the Master of Poo Pets...

"Follow the nose! It always knows! Errrr...why is it...cowering...like that?"

The Tweet of the Knight: Jonathan Tweet has fallen through a rift in space time into the Forgotten Realms, where his intellect quickly earns him a position as a courtly mage. The Wizard-Knight Sir Jon of Tweet, as he is known, always keeps his eyes open for a way home though.

Eventually, he hires the party to help him find his way back to the modern world and succeeds...

But is it the modern world or is it the Modern world?

"A Botched Plot Never Foils" - Oh, good heavens, that could just about any adventure in which the BBEGs plan goes horribly awry due to the comical ineptness of his minions. The PCs have to suddenly switch from foiling the plot to cleaning up the unintended messes caused by the mistake.

The Wonderful Wizard of Odds
A Super Hero RPG adventure set in the DC Comics Universe. The main villain of a complex casino/organized crime scheme turned out to be one of the Luck Lords of Ventura (alien scientists able to manipulate probability).

Bring in the Noise, Bring in the Flumph
D&D adventure in which a traveling band hires the PCs to defeat and capture Flumphs which, it turns out, can be used to make musical instruments of exceptional quality. A rival band is out to make sure they get the Flumphs first (Flumph are exceptionally rare on this campaign world).

Take the Mummy and Run
D&D adventure in which treasure hunting PCs search a Mummy's tomb only to find out that this supposedly wealthy noble have only a smattering of penny ante goods. The truth is that the noble was very rich and a bit nuts, having his own corpse and the removed organs gold plated. The Mummy is the treasure. Living and unliving relatives are very protective of the tomb.

Last Man Standing
Not exactly the same as the aforementioned titles, the Solomani TSS 'Last Man' is a troop transport starship that disappeared on its way back to Terra/Earth to be decommissioned. The vessel has finally been located sticking up vertically from a crater on an uncharted planet. The PCs must retrieve the 'black box' but descending from the aft engineering section down to the cockpit which is half buried in the ground. Originally run for Traveller.

Once More Into the Breach
Run in both D&D and two different superhero games (Villains & Vigilantes and M&M I think). The Breach, a character introduced earlier in the campaign has gone catatonic, resulting in time and space or planar/dimensional disturbances. The Breach's power is to travel through dimensions (or time or both) and he has obviously encountered something he couldn't handle. The PCs must enter his body, travel through the pocket dimension that is the Breach himself and save him and all the multiverse.

Science is Gold an Alchemy for Crisp Mist

(It's a two-for with a triple entendre!)

I don't get it. Silence is Golden? I'll be coming home for Christmas?

I prefer the single entendre myself, so I propose this adventure title:

The Villain Sleeps with Your Mothers

My original goal was to not stretch too far, so that the pun is there, but the adventure is not deliberately goofy and convoluted to justify the pun...ideally the adventure idea would be the cool part. But then I lost my mind a bit....

A Stygian Time Saves Nine - - the party attempts to rescue a group of orphans kidnapped by witches for...you know...the stuff witches do with children.

Return to Cinders - - a group of magmins are stranded in a small city, where the unwittingly do huge damage. Rather than simply slaying them, the party must guide them to a far-off volcano with a gate to their world.

Were's Waldo - -An unassuming, lost-in-the-crowd young gentleman has contracted lycanthropy from a lonely and amorous Weretiger. The party must enter her lair, rescue him, and find a cure.

Gorgon Wild - - The Spring festivities are interrupted by a pair of berserk (and yes, topless) monsters

Grell, Interrupted: a fast paced action adventure in which the Party must take down a ravenous and insane Grell on a feeding frenzy in the mine that is a mountain town's main source of income.

FWIW, this adventure can be scaled up or down or otherwise customized by changing critters...

Girallon, Interrupted

Gnoll, Interrupted

Troll, Interrupted

and even made epic by involving a deity...

Garl, Interrupted
