OK... you have just made a new character... and after completing your new masterpiece, you realize that the DM is never going to allow this. Why?

1) Your lowest stat is a 17 (and it is, of course, in Charisma).

2) After asking for a larger starting amount of gold, you explain that you are willing to take a level of Aristocrat to simulate the fact that your father is the High King.

3) Your shield device is a flaming smurf on a stick.

4 You put down that your Wizard has a dire half-fiend displacer beast as her familiar.

7) "Well, he's a human, so I started him with both the Spellfire and Egregious Spellfire Feats. Oh, yeah, that second one is a house rule."

-- Nifft

10) You explain that you started him off as a Death Knight "just for flavour".

11) You explain to the DM that your Godstaff of Smiting "doesn't need charges, because my God's not dead".

12) Your character is born, and Orcus dies.

13) Your Paladin's lowest stat is a 19, and it's Charisma.

14) Your DM doesn't let you have access to the Epic Level Handbook during character creation, and you are upset.

15)So you improvise.

16 Your 1st level character's race is Half God.

17 The other half of the race is Half Hellfire Wyrm.

18 Hitpoints are listed in scientific notation.

19 Under Armor Class it says "Don't worry about it".

20 Your saves are listed as "Yes".

21 While deciding on your race you reach for the Monster manual and not the PHB.

22 When your player asks okay what magic items can I have

23 When you use the point buy method and set a 28 point limit yet your new characters stats costs somewhere in the region of 40 points plus.

24 When you belong to one of the Rodent races (Halflings, Gnomes, Faeries, Kender and so forth)

25 When you want to play a Kender (this point needed reinforcing)

26 When you have a player who would even consider 24 and 25 abovew as viable options :D

27 When your players says can I play this I found it on the net (though this may just relate to my players in particular :D )
