16 years, 400+ sessions, and the campaign is done!

Thank you for making me a better GM. Your story hour and the related threads has kept 10+ individuals gaming and enjoying DND for the past 8+ years. Also, you are quite a stand up guy and one of the most helpful individuals around (shameless peg legged cat love).

The way is SHOULD be... Kudos to you PC and I though my four year campaign with a projected end date of 2 years from now was impressive. ;) My four year old 9th level characters salute in absentia!

Eh. Not to crap on anyone's playstyle, but personally I'd like to play in more than 3 campaigns (and have more than 3 characters) in my entire lifetime.

I, too, would like to know why PC is "less enamored" with 4e.

Congrats to PC (& his players)

an inspiration !

My campaign setting is 18 years old, and i'm on the 5th group of players, though have two survivors from the second itteration in the current group. but since i'm winding my 3 year old campiagn up by the end of the year (plot coming to the head and time to move on) i don't think i'm ever going to get close to PC's milestone.

Yes! Let's celebrate Kevin's accomplishment by opening the thread to an edition war!

His name is Kevin?!?

Karl is obviously the superior name, anyone who still uses kevin needs to get with the times and stop using outdated monikers. Karl is where it's at. ;)

Seriously, my greatest achievment (besides misspelling achievement) as a DM was a game that ran weekly for about 12 sessions before it died. 16 years? I can't imagine.

Grats and good show, sir.

Hi Piratecat!

That's a great achievement!

During all that time, how often did you get stuck for ideas? When you did, what did you do? I've run a few campaigns running up to 8 years but we weren't playing every two weeks!

Cheers

Richard

I had the pleasure of playing in one of PCat's sessions years ago while on a business trip to Boston. What a great bunch of folks!

Thanks again for having me over, Kevin and congratulations, it must be truly bittersweet to end such a wonderful campaign.

Looks like I'm late to the congratulations, but congrats!

Having finished a 13 year epic for my friends this past February, I know exactly what your saying.

Well done, indeed!
