All really good advice. I've thought of a couple others.

On Saturday is the costume contest and the contestants parade through the convention center. That is always a treat to see.

Also, if you are driving, bring a cooler for your room and the beverages to go in it. Buying snacks/drinks in Indy can be expensive. I've always brought a case of water/soda and granola bars to reduce costs. I'd rather spend money on new games than overpriced food. :)

Also, I have to second taking advantage of the food trucks. They are very welcome recent addition and they tend to be there all day and well into the evening with reasonable prices. I know they are forced to rotate about 1/2 way thorough the day, so there is always something new.

Good call on the hand sanitizer.

I was thinking about flying out, but ticket prices for myself and my son are a bit much, so I'll likely be driving, and if so, I'll be bringing a cooler and snacks along.

Once again, thank you all for the advice and help! We're really looking forward to this!
