2 Boxes Lords of Madness in the mail today

Does anybody use the dinos?

I actually might use a dino or two in a current campaign, but I agree that in general, dinos are pretty much a small niche in D&D.

I use dinos too. Isle of Dread and it's companion adventures, abyssal gates and as other huge beasties (especially in Dark Sun).

Love me some dinos in my RPGs. I recently wrapped up a supervillains game in savage worlds, and one of the PCs took a raptor as an animal companion. Which means his nemesis needed an animal companion, so I got myself a shiny new T-Rex to play with.

Looking for best place to buy singles and by the case

Well it is one of the uncommon huges, so those will be pretty frequent...

If you plan on buying a lot, you can get a case online for really good prices, and the cases are supposed to be sorted so you don't get too many repeats. I've only bought 1 case, but it was ruthlessly well sorted (no repeats of anything above uncommon, and exactly 2 each of all the commons).

I really want to do this! Where is the best place to get a case online?
Also, looking for singles for my pcs, etc?

I cannot afford to spring for whole boxes, but I picked up some singles from Trollandtoad. Now I also, have to wait for them to arrive. If I know whatis box at my FLGS had the Heroslayer Hydra in it, I would buy that box in a heartbeat.

Opening boosters is like Christmas. Did you grab the box with thre really cool gadget, or the one with the underwear. We all really need underwear, but that sometimes used gadget seems a lot sexier.

Re: dinos, my son (age 5) totally digs on them, and he's going to see a lot of them in the stripped-down game I'm running him in.

Re: spread in the cases, I've been really happy with what I've seen. I've opened one case (from rpglocker, who is local for me -- shout out to rpgloccker!) and two loose boxes. Apart from commons (of which I also got exactly 2 of each from the case), I didn't get a single duplicate from the case. When you add in the two loose boxes, I ended up with duplicates of the trapped chest, scorpion, stone giant, blood fiend, Dispater, and the Elder Blue, but honestly, how could I complain about that? I've already traded those extra VR's in for some of the sweet other stuff I hadn't pulled yet!

But I also get the sense I got pretty damn lucky with my pulls. One of the loose boxes alone had an Elder Blue, Dispater, and another rare (which one I don't remember.)

The Human Marauder was kind of a mud face ...

Yeah, I got one of those in the box I picked up today, and I was very disappointed in the paint job on it. The rest of the minis in the box were solid, though; my very favorite of this set was the Zhent Cavalry. My players are going to learn to hate that mini.
