Hmm, you have 6 seconds to do, lets say 2 attacks with the greatsword and why not use the momentum of a spin (from the heavy sword) to make an elbow-check (attack with armor spikes) ?
It's not that medieval classic-style swordfight of western europe but hey, who said it should ? They weren't wearing armor spikes anyway as far as i know.
Imagine an attack with a slight adjustment of the feet to the opponent and then using the spin from the weapon and step to smash this nasty little elbow spike into flesh (not your own, i hope)
. There are similar attack routines in modern karate which work very well ... *sigh* *rub own chest*
But how it's done in D&D-terms i'm not sure. Perhaps with 2 attacks (BAB +6/+1) use first attack with sword and second with spike ...
