Hi,

If you add a template wich increase HD size, say from d10 to d12, do the character gain any HPs from the HD increase or it will just affect future levels ?

If the template turn a character into an undead with no Con score, do they lose the Con modifier for Concetration check/save ?

He re-calculate his HP for all of his HD. For example, a 12th-level Wizard turned into a lich and now he has 12D12 HD. It is usually 12 for the first level, and 6.5 in average for other 11 levels.

It is slightly off-topic, but someone who have enough resources to become a lich very likely to choose desecrated area for his transmutation. So most Liches should have 12d+2 hp per level IMHO.

Yes, because they no longer have a CON modifier. This also affects their Fortitude save.

Yes, it is retroactive. You basically reroll all your Hp per level.

Yes, they have no Constitution (mod 0), but they can still make Concentration checks using Cha mod. As for Fortitude saves, they are immune to most of the effects which require one, but there are some exceptions, in which they use mod 0.
