I got 9 right. That's surprisingly good acually, considering most were wild guesses.
The only things I would have changed on my list would be:
Hero - Foreign Language Film. It was the only one I'd heard of, so I just went with it. Once I saw clips of the other films and read the plots, I knew Nowhere In Africa would win.
And:
The Time Machine - Makeup. Even as I wrote that, I knew knew knew Frida would win. This was a case of having a hard time rationalizing my logical thoughts (they can't give the award for a unibrow) with what I knew would be true (this is exactly the sort of thing they do at the Oscars).
So, there you go. And before anyone thinks I'm whining and trying to weasel out a prize, bear in mind, even with these to correct, I still wouldn't have beaten Maerdwyn. Youre an Oscars machine, Maerdwyn! Congrats!
And, beside, if I had to do it over again, I still couldn't bring myself to vote Frida for Makeup. I mean, a unibrow won the Oscar in category that LotR wasn't even nominated in!
BTW, does anyone else find it funny that Chicago, the musical, didn't win either music category?

Congrats to Maerdwyn on guessing best how the academy would choose to give out their awards! It was a real nail-biter and I thought that The Hours would get best picture and give Mistwell the big prize. As posted above, please drop me an Email so that I can be sure to have a working Email address for ALL OF YOU since I am making sure that everyone who participated gets something from the prize vault. Thanks for making this a bright spot of fun in recent dark time.
