Vir Cotto: The year of great sadness,
Marcus Cole: The year of pain,
Delenn: And a year of joy.
Londo Mollari: It was a new age.
Stephen Franklin: It was the end of history.
Commander Susan Ivanova: It was the year everything changed.
Security Chief Michael Garibaldi: The year is 2261.

*Cough* Sorry, had to do it. :D

Year of the Golden Bovine. There are sure a lot of 29.95 hardbacks in the pipeline...

Kobolds are too cliche. (Well, okay, so are drow.) But seriously, "the monster everyone underestimates," "the scrappy underdogs," etc. Might as well do Year of the Kender.

How about:

Year of the Sea [let's have some good nautical themed stuff]
Year of the Boxed Set
Year of the Underdark [everything non-drow]

:)

Year of the Drow, of course!

This year shall be ... The Year of the Drow!

This way, WOTC doesn't have to write up new web pages, they can just re-use last year's.

Also, Drow probably produce as much money for WOTC as any other race in the stable.

In fact, every year might be "Year of the Drow."

So is that Decade of the Drow, or Years of the Drow, or Year of the Dark Elves, or Year of going with what we know works, instead of trying something new. They could really go for the old jugular and call it Year of a certain individual Drow.
