I'm sorry Joe. I was looking forward to working with you again. Still see you at GenCon?

Hard to say. Now that the time is potentially free, I may take my girlfriend up to Cederburg. We used to get there when Gen Con was in Wisconsin but seeing as how Gen Con is in Indian now...

It's a wait and see mode.

Hey, I'm new to the site, and have recently taken up d&d AGAIN to play once more. I know rather little of the D&D community life, so can you tell me what EXACTLY the GenCon is?:heh:

OK, so what does it cost? Is it all d&d? And What all can you find there? Oh, and Who are all the people that you are voting for?(I don't mean to be rude, but I am new to the community, and I didn't even know aboute stuff like GenCon, or dragon mag, and stuff until just recantly.

It costs like 60 bucks for rthe weekend, but of course staying there and eating and other exzpoenses can run much higher. It is all role playing and card and board games it seems. I think it had 40 thousand people last year. It is the best convention for rople playing but not limited to it.

The voting here, which is over, was for the judges for the Gen Con Awards .

The judges judge d20 and non-d20 (a bit of controversy on that one) that have come out in the past year. This is usually in the form of gaming products that the various d20 publishers have released over the past year. It's a yearly award, so the awards cover products released from (I think) June/July of one year to the next.

Lots of good information at the GenCon Website that should help you out.
