2006 WotC D&D Product Survivor - Round 10

I'm not voting this round - the choice is between four products I own, have read, and liked, one product I own but haven't finished reading yet, and four products I don't own and so can't judge.

Interesting that there are two Eberron products still in the running and no Forgotten Realms products, though.

Those two Eberron books were really good, delericho. Secrets of Xen'drik has a significant amount of material that could easily be ported to another setting.

It's getting hard to vote in here! I had to go with Fiendish Codex 1 - it was a decent book, but I felt it just lacked a bit compared to some of the other options.

It's odd to see "Shattered Gates of Slaughtergarde" in the lead - I considered it one of the strongest products of the year. Does anyone wish to comment on why they voted for it?

I only wish they chose a different layout for Slaughtergard. I would have preferred a RHOD type softcover book or a hardcover like EtCR to what they did with the four flimsy paper booklets. Too easy to lose or tear pages on that vellum like paper.

I didn't vote for it though, I am still reading it. I can't decide at this point between the final choices.

At this point, I'd rather the voting method switch from voting off the worst to voting for the best. It would make choosing easier because I like everything left quite a bit, but there are only a couple that are truely standout greats... IMO.

I would agree with Eric Anondson above. This is a really tough vote. I gave it to Ravenloft though because I have a ton of mega-adventures already. I own and REALLY love RHoD and I like Shattered Gates of Slaughtergarde so far (*though not nearly as much as RHoD*)

I find it amusing that one of the lowest votes on this thread has the longest whine-fest thread roundly criticizing it.

I agree FCI is the best book of the year, though.

I noted this as well. Hmmm, I guess stat-blocks aren't as important as everyone says they are, yet they sure get argued about a lot.
