just wondering, by creating custom spells, do they get used for random spellbook generation too ?

Yes custom spells are used in the random lists. If you have created custom spells, when you generate a random spellbook you should see a checkbox to include any custom spells you've made.

And very easy to add custom spells, i like the filter options too

another thing ... Is there a way to use the app in a sort-of offline mode? In case the app is not reachable, or not available any longer.
e.g. set up the app locally.

Maybe a weird question, I know.
I used an DOS programm for 25+ yrs so am looking to understand the long-term impact
