24 - 4e style (closed)

@Barrion

Nathan acted last turn (he was one round behind you, so his act was simply double moving to join the group).

This turn, Leyra, Barrion and Nathan are still up. As usual, if everyone has acted but Nathan I will run him (Velmont returns from vacation sometime next week, I believe).

With the horde in hand, Callen turns his attention towards the angel as he is unable to reach the skull. He launches a mental assault, summoning a flying illusory spear from his orb. The spear impacts the angel, but the angel does not appear to be affected by it.

Who the hell is Callen? The name of a character you play in another PbP? ;)

Doh! whats confusing me is that he's another 4e wizard. i really should've gone with something different for this one but I wanted to see what I could look forward to at higher levels with him.

Leyra; why would Dagran and Garrick gain +2 to their attacks? They weren't in the divine glow blast area. I am missing something?

Maybe I'm just a little out of sync. :lol:

I thought Garrick had moved right into the middle of them and Dagran had charged past Leyra before she used the Divine Glow last round... :)

sweet and provided that its still around on my next turn i'll actually get to use the Orb power to keep that -2 stuck to the angel for an extra round.

Gene; I'm looking at Martial Power for the fighter. There is a handful of interesting things for Dagran.

The battlerager class feature and/or themed power could fit in very well with his style.

Well, as a short preview, the Battlerager class feature replace the fighter weapon talent (+1 with two-handed weapons in your case).

In exchange, if you get +1 to damage while wearing light armor or chainmail, or +2 if you are using hammers, axe, mace or pick. Also, you are allowed to stack temporary hp gained from powers with the Invigorating keyword (normally, temp hp from any source never stack).

Invigorating is a new keyword introduced in Martial Power. Powers with this keyword allow you to gain temp hp equal to your constitution bonus (a maximum of 1/round) when they hit.

Several powers, including a new at-will, are introduced with this keyword. A lot of these also allow you to add constitution bonus to damage if you use axes or hammers.

That's all very battleragey, and particularly useful for a dwarf due to their emphasis on axes/hammer and their CON bonus.
