You have teleported me away after I AoE them.
You teleport you away after you AoE them.
And Mirage haven't act yet, and will probably AoE them...

Didn't though about you in that strategy, but it just better then I hope (except for the amount of damage I've recieved).

Moving that foward was for:

1) Encourage the DireWolf to attack someone els ethen me, so I can hinder his attack or reduce his damage.
2) Teleport the Dire Wolf next to me and attack him.
3) Get surrounded by others and use my Swordburst and then teleport away.
4) Leave a mass of enemy for our wizard.

Keep that kind of retconning to a minimum.

Don't go back and re-edit, but in the future, if Nathan writes that he teleports, then that's that and Barrion does something else.

As I said, you act when you post and that's it. There are advantage to acting first or acting last in the group so in the end it evens out.

Noted...

Note to myself, speak of strategy in this thread before acting might be a good thing.

Sorry about the retconning. That came from us writing posts at pretty much the same time.

No one had posted by the time I wrote the post...

We'll be good for now on.

Teleportation, movement and stealth:

There are two ways to look at this. Either teleportation doesn't count as 'move' and Barrion didn't get the Shadow walk concealment bonus when he teleported.
In that case stealth broke when he appeared and he didn't have combat advantage.

Or it does count as move, in which case he broke the 'keep still' stricture of stealth and needed to make a -5 stealth check to see if could remain stealthy upon arrival.
These two interpretation leads to very different result.

In case one, Barrion could teleport into a square with built-in cover or concealment and automatically retain stealth status.

In Case two, he can't do that but he could make a -5 stealth check to pull basically the stunt he just did in any given square.

I posted on the rule forum for opinions. It's kind of important because the attack misses the Tiefling without CA. I need to make a ruling on this soon.

All right, so I will allow that teleportation triggers Shadow Walk but by the same token it breaks stealth the 'Keep Still' stricture.

So Barrion needs to beat passive perception 16 with a -5 to stealth check, otherwise he lose CA and missed the Tiefling.

I'll let him roll himself but will do it if that's the last thing holding from moving on the next round.

New instruction!

Next to your magic items, please type in the page and book where I can find their description.

When Mirage used a Phantasm Soldier, I spent a good fifteen minutes wondering what the hell that was!

lol will do. figured his character sheet would cover it (its there word for word). I believe that down below I've got page numbers some where. But I'll make sure it's easy to find.

Must have missed some damage on Leyra... you list her at 33.

I got 6 from the zombie and 5 from the cold. What have I missed? :)

Bye
Thanee
