"You said that that stuff needed to be kept cold? So can we just leave it here or should we perhaps burn the barn down around it? Wouldn't that do the trick?"

[sblock=OOC]Garrick's Endurance is not good (+3) so he might Aid but won't be primary.[/sblock]

Leyra

Leyra will support the team with her fair knowledge of Nature, to find a quick route to move along and not lose directions on the way.

OOC: Nature 17.

I'd still like to answer Nathan, if the Religion roll yielded some result, even though it was not part of the skill challenge.

Success 7
Failure 1

Leyra's Nature check yields a shorter and easier path toward the dam.

No more success can be obtained through Nature.

PCs untrained in Endurance will have a bit of an easier time keeping the pace ; +2 to endurance check for these PCs.

PS : The endurance check can be retried if failed but only one per PC may be yielded.

Religion Check:
DC 15: Most zombies are created using a foul ritual. Once
roused, a zombie obeys its creator and wants nothing more
than to kill and consume the living.
DC 20: Corpses left in places corrupted by supernatural
energy from the Shadowfell sometimes rise as zombies on
their own. These zombies have no master and generally attack
all living creatures they encounter.

Additionnally, the more powerful the Zombie, the more expensive and difficult the ritual. Chillborn Zombiea are one of the most powerful type.

What we can conclude is that it is likely one of the banned evil church is involved somehow. Which one is anyone's guess. Orcus and Vecna's seems a bit more likely since they use undead more routinely but in truth in could be anyone of them, especially since the zombies were used primarily for an utilitarian purpose (refrigeration).[/sblock]

"Mirage, just burn it down with a few sorching burst, no time for delcacy, no time to chat either." tells Nathan. Not waiting, he shows exemple and starts to run, but the poison seems to have lingering effect and affect his endurence.

[SBLOCK=OOC]Endurence roll (1d20+10=15) [/SBLOCK]

Tally

7 success
2 failures

Round 3, everybody's action are up.

+2 to endurance check for untrained PCs thanks to Leyra's Nature check.

Remember that endurance check can't be aided (but as you can see it can be supported and there is at least one other skill check that could achive that result...)

"Try more measured breaths Dargan, that'll help clear your lungs." offers Mirage trying to help his companion as he himself practices the same advice.

Endurance (1d20 7=18)

EDIT: changes to this post are pending as Endurance can't be aided (as per last DM post) doh.

[sblock]I just wrote in the previous sblock that you can't aid another through endurance!

It can be supported, though, just like Leyra's nature check grants a +2 bonus to all untrained PC to the their endurance.

I will wait until the end of the round before tallying Dagran's check as a failure because I have in mind at least one support check that would grant everyone a +2 to endurance.[/sblock]

[sblock=ooc]Sorry missed that. I think I know what the other skill is that needs to be used, but Mirage isn't good at it. Is it possible to Aid Another before someone else states their action to suggest what skill they should use? What ever I manage to do I'll change my above action to an Aid Another for a different skill with the same d20 roll if that's okay.

PS. I'm trying to be a bit obtuse just in case you don't want me to suggest who should be making what skill check.[/sblock]

[sblock]Yes, you can suggest things for others and even make an aid another in advance.

That being said, I'm going to count Mirage check as an upfront success for endurance check. It beat 17, after all.

Success 8
Failure 2 (maybe 3)

Dagran, Mirage and Leyra acted
