With the horde in hand, Mirage turns his attention towards the angel as he is unable to reach the skull. He launches a mental assault, summoning a flying illusory spear from his orb. The spear impacts the angel, but the angel does not appear to be affected by it.

Leyra

Leyra moves up and covers the area of the bridge where their adversaries are approaching in a glowing light of divine radiance. The remaining two devillish legionnaires are overwhelmed by the attack and also the zombie behind them is damaged, while Garrick and Dagran feel the support of Corellon lifting their spirits and guiding their hands.


OOC: Move: Move to AI13;
Standard: Divine Glow (straight ahead) Zombie (AH10) hit for 15 damage, Legionnaires (AI10 & AH11) both hit (22 24 29 vs. Reflex; 10 radiant damage + 5 vulnerability);
Garrick and Dagran both get a +2 power bonus to their attack rolls for one round;
Minor: Healing Word on Barrion (14 + Healing Surge Value).

When the devil dies Barrion teleports closer to the Angel.

He raises his sword, silmutaneously cursing and blasting the angel with eldritch energy, missing. Realizing he's on the front lines, Barrion moves farther back.

Nathan strides forward, protected by the magic of his potion. His sword is surrounded by a fearsome aura of lightning and it crashes on the zombie, singing it badly.

Lightning clash (1d20+11=26, 1d8+6=12)

Electricity arcs from the zombie and lashes toward the flying angel but withstands the attack easily. He nevertheless manages to mark him with his unearthly aegis.

Secondary attack (-2 fearsome aura) (1d20+6=9, 1d6+5=6) vs Fortitude

Obeying its master, the zombie sets up to flank Nathan and slams its meaty fist into him but fails to breach his defenses. Still, he includes Leyra in his frigid aura and she feels its bite.

Slam (-5 cold resistance) (1d20+11=24, 1d6-1=3)

But the Angel swoops in and lashes out with its weapons and lands a glancing blow.

Blade fury (+2 flanking) (1d20+15=31, 1d8+6=7, 1d20+15=24, 1d4+6=9)

Meanwhile, the field of shadowy magic laid down by Mirage finally disperse and the zombie who was stuck behind it is ordered forward by the cackling skull and he charges past it. Beleaguered as he is, Nathan still finds and occasion to lash out his sword at the undead.

Opportunity attack (1d20+11=26, 1d8+6=8)

He clips it solidly but it continue forward, attacking the hated cleric and chilling her to her bones.

Charge (1d20+12=32, 1d6+4=10)

Having directed his troops, the skull launches a vicious bolt of flame accross the channel toward the suddenly vulnerable cleric. Being a undead wizard, he needs little incentive to target a seravant of one of the god of light. He pounds on the opportunity, burning her bad. Sadly, this doesn't counteract the harmful effect of the severe cold she is also suffering...

[sblock]By teleporting at AI12, Barrion entered the cold aura of the zombie and lost 5 hp, bringing him down to 25. The healing word brings him to 53.

Remember that the hp in parenthesis is what you'll have at the begining of your turn unless someone can change the condition causing the damage before you act.

Leyra; why would Dagran and Garrick gain +2 to their attacks? They weren't in the divine glow blast area. I am missing something?

Leyra

Leyra being in a storm of fire and cold right now, calls upon the healing powers of Corellon to see her through this encounter, then she raises her holy symbol and turns the vile zombies. The one near Nathan is unaffected, while the undead closer to Leyra suffers the full impact of the holy blast and is repelled beyond the constraints of the bridge, falling down into the canal, slowly freezing the water around its body.


OOC: Minor: Healing Word on herself (heal 25);
Standard: Turn Undead - hits Zombie 1; misses Zombie 2 (28 12, 18 radiant damage + 5 vulnerability);
Push - Zombie 1 goes over the edge... Save (6 fail);
Save against ongoing cold damage (20 success).

Barrion steps forward, glad to be rid of the icy cold of the zombie that found itself right next to him. He reappears just in the edge of the other Zombie's aura, feeling the cold bite into him once again.

Barrion curses the zombie currently on the bridge, turns, and blasts him with witchfire, causing him to explode. Nathan is able to resist the cold of the explosion. The death of the zombie sends Barrion into the feywild, allowing him to reappear close to the flaming skull. Barrion, taking advantage of his reappearance, decides to blast the flaming skull with mystical energy, but misses.
