Dagran and Garrick being prone or hunched before the barricade, the monks opt to shoot above them at Leyra and Nathan.
(Neither Dagran or Garrick provide cover to allies behind them given the circumstances)
Stealth (1d20+13=32, 1d20+13=20)
[sblock]Checks were in order; Dm1 and Dm2. Dm1 shoots at Nathan and Dm2 at Leyra, so Leyra sees her attacker while Nathan doesn't.[/sblock]
Ghost Shuriken (1d20+10=26, 2d4+3=6, 1d20+10=22, 2d4+3=7) vs Reflex
[sblock]-2 for cover, +2 for CA, 26 VS Nathan; hits
-2 for range, -2 for full defense; 18 vs Leyra; hits
For refrence, the second 1d4 of damage is necrotic, incase you have some resistance I am not aware of.[/sblock]
Both the cleric and swordmage feels sharp pain and torment. The two monks then swiftly withdraw and enter the first ritual chamber.
Suddenly the door to the locker room opens and another monk attacks Nathan hand to hand, his palm glowing with negative energy but Nathan deflect with his magic shield.
Recharhe on 4 or more (1d6=4)
Suddelnly the furniture is torn apart! It hid a nasty set of spinning blade mounted on a chariot. The engine of death moves forward and runs over Dagran and Garrick.
Vs Garrick;Dagran (1d20+10=30, 3d8+3=24, 1d20+10=17, 3d8+3=14) +2 CA vs Dagran
Its shreds the little hafling very badly and blood is spattered on the wall. The dwarf, despite being prone or perhaps because of hit is spared by the blades though he gets a good shave and loses part of his beard.
Second chance (1d20+10=30)
[sblock]
Huh. Because using second chance was a complete no-brainer (nothing does more damage on this battlefield than the whirling blades and it had just scored a critical) I took the liberty of rolling second chance since no better opportunity would come along. Another critical. Wow. 27 points of damage (and I had rolled 24 anyway)!
BTW: We have to talk about the best way of using second chance, Garrick. It's better if I roll it on my turn so that the people who post after my turn but before yours know wether or not you are in trouble so maybe if you give me some parameters of when you want to use it, it would be a good compromise between player control and game efficiency.

The machine continues moving in the corridor in the direction of Leyra and Barrion.
Relevant Status
Leyra: 25/49
Nathan: 53/66 -1 surge (from between the two fight, started at 59)
Garrick : 20/52 ; bloodied
Mirage : 41/49
Dagran: 65/66
[sblock]Based on the last status from previous fight with only Dagran and Nathan having spent surge in between. Correct me if somebody else intended to spend a surge.[/sblock]

[sblock]Yellow squares have good light thanks to Barrion's sunrod. The blades move at a speed of 4 per round. You can move through them, just roll a +10 VS AC attack against yourself, 3d8+3 damage. If you deliberately move through them, you can make an acrobatic check at the same time you roll the attack. If the attack beats your AC but your acrobatic check beats the attack, you are unscathed. You can't do the acrobatic check if you are attacked on the blades turn.[/sblock]
