Jack doesn't seem to have much retiscence against torturing his brother.....assuming that he doesn't know it was his brother who sold him out..

Jack can smell BS from a mile away, and I got the distinct impression Jack could tell his brother was playing with him.

Throw in the fact they hadn't spoken in years and we have another potential reason for why Jack had few compunctions.

I just finished rewatching season two along with the special features and one of the executive producers comment on what they were thinking of doing for season three and mention exploring the rest of Jack's family, of course it took them a few more years to get around to it.

Wow...remember when this show used to be awesome?

Clearly it's some sort of hearing implant that's attached to his ear. (Or else Motorola just really gave some nice fundage to 24 so long as he never removes that thing from his ear.)

That's probably what caused him to lose his hair, too.

I wouldnt say its jumping the shark. I might if the groundwork wasn't laid a season or two ago.

If 24 Jumped the Shark, it would have been in the Day 4 Finally. Something about that entire "lets make jack appear to have died of non-fatal gunshot by using heart stopping drugs which will kill him and allow us to bring him back from the dead using electro-shock" ruse screamed 'shark tank'.

Of course... I've heard some claim that the shark tank was wheeled out when Logan was revealed to be behind the entire day 5 plot. If thats the case, then maybe each season might contain at least one shark tank :cough:: kim Bauer ::cough:: )
