[3.0][FR] Feats and PrC from S&F

Are there any really broken/unbalanced/plain wack feats or PrC in Sword and Fist, one of my players is planning on buying it and I'm wondering if there are any feats or PrCs that I should disallow or dial back
I run an FR game and allow feats and PrCs from the FR books so things should be inline with those.

Then you should be fine. Aside from using the errata, as Grundle suggested, there's nothing in S&F that's more powerful than what's already in FR. On the other hand, there are some things in S&F that are wimpy as hell. Actually, it's a pretty crappy product when I think about it ;) (though far better than Quint. Fighter).

One other issue is to screen for setting/flavor.

Examples of greyhawk-specific PrCs woudl include the Fist of Hextor, the Knight Protectof of the Great Realm, the Ravager (they're dedicated to the WOG deity Erythnull), and to a lesser extend the Warmaster (the background / flavor text is based on Furyondy, a kingdom in the center region of the WOG).

But power-wise ... no, nothing extraordinarily overpowered, and generally it's all "generic" enough to, with slight tweaks, be plopped down almost anywhere.

Duellist, for example, makes fine sense as a common PrC for those from the Waterdeep region (twin-sword rapier-and-dagger style ... fits perfectly, IMO ...). Either the Fists of Hextor or the Ravagers could be re-named/re-worked slightly, to fit in with Bane; Knight Protectors and Cavaliers woudl fit the Western Heartlands, and Cormyr/Sembia, quite well (alongside Cormyr's Purple Dragon Knights, ofc).

The Drunken Master and Master Samurai fit fine in Thesk (or the Shou Expatriate pseudoregion), originating along the Great Golden Way; those two are actually easier to fit into the FR, than into WOG, in fact.

The more over-the-top items in the book have been errata'd, as kreynolds pointed out.

Ninja of the Crescent Moon was pretty powerful, but its BAB and saves have been cut back. The Bladed Gauntlet and Mercurial weapons have also been altered, to fit in better with other weapons.

The errata also tells you which of the new feats can be used as Fighter bonus feats.

Actually, it's really a complete waste of money for a FR campaign, IMO. The errata contains quite a few of the feats (and it's free)and several have been printed elsewhere, and the prestige classes don't really suit FR, again IMO.

I do really like the Wayne Reynolds B&W art, though.... :)

Cheers
