D&D 3E/3.5 3.0 Haste in 3.5

Actually, I still use a version of 3.0 Haste...but one addendum: the extra action cannot be spent performing the same kind of action twice in a round (with the exception of moment). Thus, a character could attack and cast a spell, but would be completely prevented from casting two spells with standard action casting times. So far, it's worked out just fine.

...but add a magic Staff of Fireballs, or a wand, or a scroll, or a ring of spell storing...

...sorry. I had to chime in. Personally, I wouldn't be using fireballs. I'm all about the cloudkill + forcecage, or three consecutive harm spells.

That spell is broken beyond repair, I'm afraid. Stick to 3.5. If your wizard wants to be able to cast 3 spells in a single round, he should probably have to use a wish.
