I dont think you can sing and rage at the same time...since he cannot use cha based skills like ..perform

Once you sing the Bardic Music effects last 5 rounds from when you STOP singing. So Sing, then Rage, and you still get the effects for another 4 rounds. Longer if you take Lingering Song, which I would suggest if your songs keep falling short.
