Persistent buffs?
IIRC the Persistent spell feat can only be used on a spell whose duration is Personal, or the range is fixed (i.e., the various detect spells). Besides, by the time a caster can reasonably use persistent spell, any of the stat buffing spells will be using a 6th level slot. Extend is a much better option, a 3rd level slot, plus the spell now lasts all day.
Back on topic: I don't like 1 min/level durations much. I think 10min/level is a better rule. I will reserve judgement until the books come out, however.
