Here's another:

DMG, p. 38, bottom right hand corner, in the table showing the CR of creatures with class levels. The table and footnotes indicate that ogres are CR 2, and they're now CR 3.

More errata and a couple typos

In the MM:

p. 261
The stat blocks for Xorns (all three variations) have no "Base Attack/Grapple" line.

p106
(Typo) The Ettercap stat block has two attack lines and no full attack line. The second of the attack lines should be the full attack line.

p.207
(Typo) In stat block for Phase Spider substitute "Special Qualities" for "Special Qualitiy"

pp various
Some creatures with no Int score have no entry in their stat blocks for Feats and/or Skills (Assassin Vine, Lemure, Shield Guardian, Skeleton examples, Spider Swarm) while other creatures with no Int have "Skills: —" and "Feats: —", e.g animated objects and golems.

Missing Wondrous Item?

DMG p 249: Table 7-28. entry 20 lists 'Talisman of the sphere 9000 gp' but the item is not to be found anywhere (at least not by me) The description should be on p 268 after 'Strand of Prayer Beads' and befor the 'Tome of Clear Thought'.

Anyone found it some other place?

(Naturally this was the _first_ random treasure I rolled  )

Amulet of Proof against Detection and Location (wondrous item): If a divination spell is attempted against the wearer, the caster of the divination must succeed on a caster level check (1d20 + caster level) against a DC of 19 (as if the caster had cast nondetection on herself ). CL 8th.
vs.
Nondetection (spell): If you cast nondetection on yourself or on an item currently in your possession, the DC is 15 + your caster level.

"DC of 19" in the amulet description should be changed to "DC of 23" [15+8].

Dimensional Shackles (wondrous item) : . Any creature bound within them is affected as if a dimensional anchor spell were cast upon her (no save).

The "no save" remark makes no sense as dimensional anchor doesn't have a save in the first place. It should probably be "(no SR)", or something like that. (Since most creatures you'll want to use dimensional shackles on will have SR.)

From the "Special Abilities and Conditions" chapter of the SRD (probably in the 3.5 DMG): A special ability is either extraordinary, spell-like, or supernatural in nature.

AND in the "Types, Subtypes and Special Abilities" chapter (probably in the 3.5 MM): A special ability is either extraordinary (Ex), spell-like (Sp), or supernatural (Su).

vs.

"Magic Overview" chapter of the SRD (probably in the 3.5 PH), which also lists "natural abilities" under "special abilities (last paragraph in chapter).

(In the MM2 they added natural abilities to the description of special abilities.)

Various polymorph blunders in 3.5 (probably inconclusive):

1.
The polymorph spell says: "The subject’s creature type and subtype (if any) change to match the new form".
vs
The "Special Abilities and Conditions" chapter of the SRD (probably in the 3.5 DMG), under "polymorph": "Since creatures do not change types, ..."

The entire text following "creatures do not change types" (the rest of the "polymorph" entry) makes little sense in 3.5.

2.
The shapechange spell says:"You also gain the type of the new form in place of your own."
While this is correct, it is superfluous in 3.5 now that polymorph says the same thing. (It didn't in 3.0.)

3.
Potential errata: The shapechange spell says:"...you lose your own supernatural abilities". In 3.0 all polymorph spells caused you to loose your supernatural abilities. In 3.5 this was changed in all the spells based on alter self/polymorph except for, apparently, the 9th level spell in the chain. This seems like an unintentional 3.0 holdover to me, especially considering how poorly the shapechange spell is written with regards to the 3.5 polymorph changes.

4. The shapechange spell says:"The new form does not disorient you." This sentence should be removed. Polymorph no longer has a disorientation penalty.

5. The shapechange spell says: "Parts of your body or pieces of equipment that are separated from you do not revert to their original forms." This makes little sense in 3.5 unless a sentence stating the opposite (separated parts revert to their original forms) was erroneously left out of alter self/polymorph.
[Or unless Iku Rex missed it in alter self. Ignore this point. It's not an error. ]

6.The polymorph any object spell says: "This spell functions like polymorph, .... . However, several of the examples in the table break the "within one size category of your normal size" rule from alter self/polymorph. If this is an intended exception it should be stated in the spell description.

Wondrous item, "Cloak of the Manta Ray" (SRD): "Although the cloak does not enable the wearer to bite opponents as a manta ray does, it does have a tail spine that can be used to strike at opponents behind the wearer, dealing 1d6 points of damage."

The manta ray (SRD, under "animals") does not have a bite attack.

(And it doesn't have a tail spine attack either. This is correct, as manta rays don't have tail spines. Not sure if this qualifies as an "erratum" for the DMG though.)

From the "Special Abilities and Conditions" chapter of the SRD (probably in the 3.5 DMG): "A creature with the Track feat and the scent ability can follow tracks by smell, making a Wisdom check to find or follow a track."

...compared to the "Types, Subtypes and Special Abilities" chapter (probably in the 3.5 MM): "A creature with the Track feat and the scent ability can follow tracks by smell, making a Wisdom (or Survival) check to find or follow a track."

The later (in the MM) is correct.

(Technically both passages should probably be changed to ... Survival (or Wisdom) check...)

The Talisman of the Sphere is now a Minor Artifact (which makes sense to me, since it's only function is to control a Minor Artifact, except perhaps leaving it lying around as a nasty 5d6 "practical joke" against people who can't cast Arcane spells :D) and is listed with them. As such, it can no longer be created by PCs, and shouldn't be found randomly. Guess they forgot to remove it from the Wondrous Item table.
