3.5 Greyhawk - Against the Slavers (closed)

Rowena Elredd

Snipehunt, sorry for all the vascilations. I've been fiddling with my various PC ideas, & I've come to like my Paladin quite a bit, so I'm going to go ahead & post her. I'll clean her up with some edits.

Rowena Eldredd
female human Paladin level 6

Background:
Rowena was born the only daughter of The Lord Mayor of Elredd, on the wild coast, in CY 570. Her three older brothers each was destined for a post in the government, but Rowena’s best hope was being assigned a husband who wouldn’t beat her. Early on, she began to rebel. She pursued martial skills, and hung out with the soldiers. When the wild coast was overrun by the forces of the Pomarj, she fled with the remnants of her family to Furyondy. At age 15, she became pregnant, and gave birth to twins, Aragon and Jessica. The father was not know. Some said even Rowena didn't know. She gave up her children to a wetnurse, and continued to train with the soldiers.

Rowena 2

Feeling very depressed and unfulfilled, she sat drinking one day, she appealed to all the gods to give her purpose. She passed out on the bar, and had a vision. Heironeous appeared to her, and told her he had a mission for her, but she had to prove herself worthy. Awaking, Rowena realized her hair had changed. Before it was jet black, but now, a streak of it was pure white. And when she pulled it back, as she generally wore it, the white looked like a lightening bolt over her head. At this point, she became a Paladin. In the years that followed, she fought in numerous skirmishes with the forces of Turrosh Mak. She became a powerful and respected warrior. It was at this point, feeling capable of making a real difference in this world, that Heironeous again appeared to her, instructing her to undertake a crusade against a group of slavers that were ravishing the region.

sorry - I can't seem to make long posts - I time out

According to the DMG, it's 13,000GP for 6th Level, just for those who couldn't find it.
The new 3.5 DMG is a bit strange to navigate, regarding the info for PCs above 1st Level. Just a bit less obvious than 3.0
pg 135 of the 3.5 DMG for anyone not sure.

Thanks! It seems this information is not in the SRD. Very weird, I think it is a must for 3rd party editors to give PC/NPCs proper starting equipment, I don't understand why they didn't put this in the SRD and they instead put those random treasure tables which I have never ever used.

I wrote my PC, and I will post it later today - I should be working  - in the meantime I will think of 2 missing feats I haven't decided so far. If someone has suggestions, they are very welcome! The PC is CG Human Sorcerer 6th, and so far he has Silent Spell and Still Spell. I don't know what to take next, but no item creation (he has too few spells known, and item creation doesn't really fit the character).

Here's my character, tell me if anything needs fixing or modifying, no background as of yet but its coming :):

Fealnne Rainstar 6th lvl Ranger NG (Ehlonna)

PC Looks fine :) Put in background or not, if not, I'll come up with sumthin.

Toric, I saw the PC, it looks fine but I don't really check thoroughly until the equipment's in b/c the stats (and hits and skills and . . . ) all change. Looks fine on a once-over, though. :)

Manzanita, great background. Thanks! :) From Furyondy (eventually) . . . I can work with that!

Please flesh out the equipment list. This is an updated AD&D adventure, with lots of annoying traps and pretty strict guidelines re wt, food, etc. I'm changing a lot of details, but trying to keep the same feel, so everything counts. Bwaa, ha, ha, ha, ha.
