I have been liking the idea of walking in mithril. Now it is Adamantium and more expensive!

I dono... I'd have to see Lidda in some Silent/Shadow Elven Chain +1 for comparason first. In my heart of hearts I still feel that Our Lady Rogue would come out the more attractive.

I prefer the dwarven plate revision, being a child of 2e. Makes it more "dwarf" to make it hard to break, not light and airy. Sides, dwarves already move good in heavy armor...

Anabstercorian, your barbarian would use the better of the two, I'm afraid.

That is true. Mithril really is more of an elven metal than a good stout dwarven metal. I am just upset at having my AC reduced by 2, if we convert. But the DR 3/- is nice. Too bad it doesn't stack with other DR then I could have DR 4/-.

It's funny the only way I really came into my Dwarven Plate was when I converted from 2e to 3e. In 2e it was simply plate made to fit dwarves. Then in 3e it became something special.

Don't like the new gnome pick. Hate that the ?*@#$%!*& lines are still there. Hope they don't eliminate all the illos from the MM -- I especially liked Diterlizzi's Planetouched, which got nerfed :-(
