3.5 interior pictures!

Agreed. One more WAR update (this one's rather good, though) of a monster that had a great original picture...
I concur. The new WAR pic is rather cool, but the old Lockwood was bloody spectacular.

Here is some other cool stuff I noticed:
The Babau Demon was added from the BoVD.
Lots of Demon CRs were switched around:
Bebilith 9 to 10
Retriever 10 to 11
Vrock 13 to 9 (!)
Succubus 9 to 7
Hezrou 14 to 11
Glabrezu 15 to 13
Nalf 16 to 14
Balor 18 to 20 (yay!)

Aw piss, they got rid of the hella cool Lockwood Mindflayer.
Oh well, nit and pick.

It's still in there. That's a picture of the Mindflayer Sorcerer, a page after the normal mindflayer pic.

It's nice to see that they're carrying on with the WotC policy that an illustration cannot, under any circumstances, match the description.

Note the picture of the balor.

Then, compare to:
The body of a balor is wreathed in flame. Anyone grappling a balor takes 6d6 points of fire damage each round.

Also, the sword looks like a flaming lightning bolt, not a flame or a lightning bolt.

Hmm... Looks like slings are considered thrown weapons rather than projectile weapons in 3.5. They now include your strength bonus to damage, and halflings get their +1 thrown bonus on slings.

Interesting change.

Halflings get a +1 bonus to hit with thrown weapons and slings in 3.5.

After looking over the archmage, I'm impressed. They weakened it enough that not every high-level wizard will be an archmage, but didn't weaken it so much that no one will take it.

Also, Lockwood is doing some of his better work on revised, in my opinion. I like both the archmage and the elven chain.

It seems pretty nerfed to me. The change in Spell Power was known before this, but they eliminated Spell Power +2 and Spell Power +3. The revised Spell Power +1 isn't all that helpful. I wonder if the Red Wizard's been similarly nerfed.

The Arcane Trickster, on the other hand, seems to have escaped the revisions unscathed.
