[3.5] Last Night I had the strangest dream. . .

. . . I dreamt that I was living in some tenament and I still lived with my mom and had taken the day off of work because I had sprained my ankle very badly (the ankle/job part is actually true), but was feeling better (that part isn't), when the buzzer rang and it was the mail man - who had not only a package from Amazon for me - but three dollars in cash (I had overpaid, he said) - I took the package back upstairs and opened it to reveal the 3.5 PHB and DMG!

I was so excited - in mt dream I knew it was a mistake getting to me a month early - but I was so psyched - included in the package were a bunch of laminated sample character sheets of characters with templates on them - like a spectre monk with sharp bone-spurs growing from its knuckles and a half-fiend halfling bard with a flaming mustache (yes, there were illustrations on the sheets).

The funny thing is, in the dream I never got to actually open the books - as all I could think about was how overwhelming it was to try to incorporate all these changes into my current game. . .

Hey, I hope the ankle gets to feeling better soon. It's a reall bummer to be out of action because of an injury.

As for the dream, they have doctors that can help you with it. They even have nice soft padded rooms for you to sleep in. ;)

Yoink! Now if only you could give me those illustrations, and my campaign's villains would be complete... if only they had names, too...

Good luck with your ankle, I know how hard it is going around with a bum foot area...

Dreaming about D&D you say?

Not the fantasy world but about mere administrative stuff regarding the game?

*scribbles some notes*

Oh! Okay .. it makes sense now. You have an injury and are perhaps on medication (or at the very least your mind is still healing from the trauma).

It does make so much more sense now....
