[3.5 - OOC] Answering the Call

Let's say Borderland Keep for now. I think even after resting one night, the party will perhaps want to return to the keep's safety to recuperate, get rewarded, purchase new supplies, et cetera.

I'd have to go back and count, unfortunately. But I think we have 11 or 12 hobgob hands.

I didn't even think to keep a running count. There was one on the stairs, three or four in the dining hall, and five in the hall, or something like that.

Rhun, if you'd go back and count, it'd save me some time and irritation. :)

Don't you get time for re-certification or something?

I thought that a reasonable request. The superintendant obviously didn't. Such is life. The amusing possibility is that I meet the new certification requirements, re-apply for my position, and then get re-hired at a higher salary. Ah, bureaucracy.

Anyway, I've posted a new GM turn. Yay me!

I posted this in the IC thread, but looks like we have 15 hobgoblin hands:

1 - Stairs
5 - Common Room
5 - Ambush in the Hall
4 - Reinforcements

I'll be mostly out of touch until August 15th. I'll try to post, but I don't promise anything.

NPC Menno as neccessary.

He will goad dwarf's party with free drink and mentioning how easy it was to slay dozens of them - I'm not sure what is needed to get him to talk recklesly about his 'deeds' - but it would help if Menno recognizes that 'silver dagger' he is using...

Menno will refraing from using his fire bolt in the inn, sleep and grease will be his weapons :) scorching ray only in case party member is about to die or some other dire emergency. Same for fire bursts
