3.5 SRD Files?

Books came yesterday, yay, no need for the SRD. WotC may let you down, but Wal-Mart won't. Viva la Resistance!!!

Pre-ordered from Walmart... still no books. Customer Service tells me August. I am an exception somehow for Walmart, seeing as how you can order the books today and get them tomorrow. Cancelled my order on Tuesday, got my books yesterday from Hastings.

Happily, since I didn't pay shipping, I actually beat the Walmart price by $5.

LOL, i missed that Gratification thread, when I first saw that I had the worst possible mental image of a gamer "enjoying" his new 3.5 books. Now I feel very unclean, like i need to soak my brain in some alcohol.

I'm just hoping that the newly updated SRD adds Illithids, Slaadi, Yuan-ti, and Beholders back!

Especially since WOTC isn't going to publish modules anymore, leaving that up to the secondary publishers, it would be nice if they could use some of the cooler monsters...

...without having to jump through hoops that is.

Why should they? They may not print-publish modules to sell, but they can offer them in Dungeon magazine (and Dragon -- see the Githyanki in the Incursion crossover). They also publish ORIGINAL ADVENTURES on the internet ... for free! Go and download them!

Who knows? They may not be used in adventure modules but they can always publish products about them.
