Thank you for humoring my curiosity. Unfortunately, I have to love around a bit before I can give you more XP, kitcik.

Not sure how lightning mace would work for scimitars unless it were houseruled to apply. Suppose it could function admirably.

I never noticed the difference between those two weapons before (I generally just select 'longsword,' 'quarterstaff,' or 'rapier' and get on with things). Then I noticed the d6 vs. d8, and was perturbed until I saw the difference in critical range. Then I couldn't remember how to set up the equation, because, let's face it, the last class I had utilizing probabilistic maths ended two weeks ago. I've slept since then.

The Aptitude enhancement allows you to apply feats for other weapons (like Lightening Mace) to the chosen weapon. So now you've got a 9-20 crit range weapon (more if you really milk it) that grants you a bonus attack if you roll a 9 or higher. Bonus attacks, incidentally, will also grant bonus attacks if you roll a 9 or higher.

So, conceivably, an unlimited attack chain? Why have I not seen this elsewhere as being utterly broken?

Improved Critical [General]
Choose one type of weapon.

Special
You can gain Improved Critical multiple times. The effects do not stack. Each time you take the feat, it applies to a new type of weapon.
This effect doesn’t stack with any other effect that expands the threat range of a weapon.
