Well, in all seriousness, I think everybody who's played or DM'd 3rd edition before has an opinion on their likes and dislikes. And it's not like WotC is keeping the whole project under wraps....they're letting little tidbits out here and there to get people excited and talking about it. So I think having a very strong opinion about what you'd like to see or wouldn't like to see combined with the info that's already floating out there is a very natural thing.

And it's against human nature NOT to rant and rave!

yup, it's just like pre-BOVD but 10 times worse...
Ocassionally fun, but somewhat tiring.

I think the difference, at least for me, was that so much of the advance info on BOVD was SO negative. Plus you had Tracy Hickman posting his very condemning viewpoint. It got to the point that even the author had to say that the book's hype and "For Mature Audiences Only" marketing was much ado about nothing.
