Of course, we could all ignore Istvan because he's so short. That'll learn him*. ;)
*"Learn him" what exactly, I don't know. But it seemed like the right thing to say.

Scurry and Shayuri, excellent. Feel free to post your characters in the Rogue's Gallery. I have a little meeting to go to, but I'll we can be on our way to getting you started when I come back in a couple of hours.

Shayuri: Let me answer your questions so we can get you going. :) [sblock]
What would I know about the Screaming Angels and their nemesi in that case?
The Black Dogs used to be based in the seedier areas of the Lower Ward, where they had their hands in all sorts of typically nasty enterprises; muggings and murders-for-hire, acting as enforcers for slum lords; things of that nature. Most of their members are the dregs of the Doomguard and Anarchist factions, with a few Indeps and Xaositects scattered here and there. Although the Black Dogs only have about thirty or so fulll-fledged members, they've formed convenient alliances with other street gangs throughout the Hive and Lower Wards -- such as the Hellteeth and Back-Alley Shivs -- that effectively put their numbers at over one hundred.

The leader of the Black Dogs is a dark-humored and preternaturally cunning tiefling who calls himself Guytrash. Rumor has it that he and his top enforcers used to serve as mercenaries in the Blood War before giving the fiends the laugh in Sigil, and Guytrash claims to be willing cuts deals with anyone -- baatezu or tanar'ri -- so long as their jink's good.

About half a cycle ago, the Black Dogs were booted out of the Lower Ward and driven into the Hive by the Screaming Angels, a relatively informal group of bloods who were fed up with the Dogs. Some rumors attribute the Angel's success to tacit support by the Indeps and Ciphers, although its just as likely that the Screaming Angels won out through the popular backing of the locals.

With the Dogs out of the Lower Ward, the ranks of the Angels slowly dissolved as most of the members returned to their lives. The ones who stayed were those with nowhere else to go, or who formed a familial bond with the group. Most of the members of the Screaming Angels come from the Indep faction, with a few Ciphers or Sensates here and there. The de facto leader of the Screaming Angels is an imperturbable, chocolate-skinned aasimar named Kamaria Solari, whose current concerns include preparing for the Dog's eventually drive to reclaim their Lower Ward territory.[/sblock]

Most excellent. I've streamlined my concept a bit, and will be updating my sheet today.

I'm even taking Skill Focus: Perform (Singing) for a feat. Rar. :)

Oh! I should ask too, with a Beguiler in the group...does the Beguiler focus on Enchantment? I dont' want to step on any toes. I figure with a bard, I can reasonably focus on enchantment or illusion. I like enchantment, but if our Beguiler casts those a lot, I'll do illusions instead.

Beguilers can't really focus on a particular school since their known spells are gotten like a cleric while they are able to cast spells per day like a sorcerer. So I don't concentrate on any one.

I'm going to have to amend my last promise; I'll put the rest of the IC posts up sometime during my (other) 14-hour workday tomorrow. Right now, its time to get six hours of sleep so I can drag myself to work in the morning -- hopefully without injecting hot coffee straight into my bloodstream. :p

Scurry, Shayuri; how are those character sheets coming? Feel free to post them in the Rogue's Gallery here once you have them worked out. :)
